Nominate your story
Write in whichever language feels closest to you. This is a nomination: we read, we choose, then we invite you to record. The story goes online together with your video — the text alone is not published.
Before you write, here is what the association commits to
- Sending a story does NOT mean it will appear. We select some stories, invite the storyteller to record, and only with a video does the story go online.
- You choose the name shown on the site: your full name, one you pick yourself, or anonymous.
- You can withdraw at any time — we take it down within 72 hours, including from social media.
- Consent to publish on the website and consent to publish on social media are two separate choices.
- We reply within seven days, even when we do not publish — and we say why.
- We do not pay for stories.
What does a good story look like?
In year six I could not speak Czech. My teacher sat me next to Tereza, and every break she pointed at things and said their names. Desk. Window. Board. I copied them into a small notebook, read them to my parents in the evening, and they learned along with me… — One concrete episode, real people, a detail you remember. Do not write “integration is a long journey”: true, but nobody remembers it.
