Mentor network

A young person choosing a direction, and someone who already walked that road. One conversation a month, for at least six months.

Why one-to-one

Everyone can hear general advice at a seminar, but each young person’s real question is private: which field to choose, whether to go and work in Vietnam, how to explain it to their parents. Those questions only get asked sitting alone with someone you trust.

How pairs are made

  • Matched by field and by temperament, never drawn at random.
  • Someone from the association joins the first meeting to open the conversation.
  • After that the pair arranges its own meetings, at least monthly, in person or by video.
  • After six months both sides decide whether to carry on.

What a mentor needs

No grand title required. What is needed: some working or study life behind you, willingness to give one session a month, and the ability to tell your real story — including the parts that were not pretty.
