Where the money goes, who approves it, who checks

Core principles

• Not for profit — all income serves the association’s mission and social goals.
• Transparency, disclosure and accountability.
• Every financial decision is made within its authority and recorded in writing.

Income

Lawful sources of income include grants, aid, donations, non-profit services and interest.

• Every item of income has a contract or receipt stating its purpose where the donor set one.
• Restricted income is kept separate from unrestricted income.

Spending

• Spending follows the approved budget.
• Clear categories: operations, projects, long-term investment, emergency.
• Each level of spending has its own limit and approver — below the limit the section lead approves, above it the executive board does.
• Invoices and receipts follow Czech law.

Reserve fund

The association holds a reserve covering 6–12 months of operation without income. It is not used for day-to-day spending without specific approval.

Reporting and control

• Periodic financial reports to the executive board, and to funders on request.
• Internal or independent audit every year.
• Financial information published here, especially for projects funded by public donations.

Conflict of interest

The association’s assets and funds are never used for personal purposes. Anyone with a personal interest in an expense must declare it and take no part in deciding it.

Annual report

The activity and financial report for the first period will be published here as soon as that period closes, with a downloadable file.
